Books Vs. Movies

Books or movies? That’s an important question. It’s one of the most important ones when it comes to book freaks. You simply can’t be a book freak and say that you like the movie more. Now, I’m sure that if you don’t read books all that often, then you would be a movie lover. But if you read a book before the movie and then watch the movie, I know for sure that you will say that the book is 100% better. I will prove to you why that is.
With books, you can go anywhere. You can be anything. With books, you use a lot of your imagination. It’s basically T.V. in your head, but you control everything. You imagine what the characters look like, how their surroundings look, and how everything happens. There is much more detail in the book, and with the book, the author can put anything into it. He/ she can make the book as long he/ she wants it to be, without there being any problem. Books are also a place to escape. You are in your own little world when you read, and no one can mess with it. That’s why books are better.
With movies, there is a lot that can go wrong. Movie are limited by time and money. This can cause several problems. For example, effects. If a book is full of amazing stunts, and out of this world crap, movie producers may not be able to do those. For instance, safety is a concern, and with the affects, it may be limited to the technology that we have, making it a lot less awesome than it could be. Also, detail and depth can be affected. With movies, you can only have a two hour time, so a lot has to be cut from the book in order for it to work. This makes it so that it is not as accurate to the book. You lose important scenes, characters, and sometimes part of the plot.
Also, the way you are involved is different. With movies, you are just sitting there like a potato, staring at a screen. That uses absolutely no imagination. With books, you have to do it all. It involves you in order to have things happen. It makes you more intelligent, and expands your mind.

That’s the difference between movies and books. And as you can see, books are better.
