The feels: Music

The feels are a powerful thing. They have the ability to make someone open up, makes someone completely break down, or turn someone into a ragging, bad ass mother trucker. So don’t mess with the feels. The source of the feels can come in many different forms. For example, books, movies, and music. Music has a lot of variety and can change the feels however it wishes. It’s up to the listener what type of feels that they want to experience. Maybe their feels are already feeling something and need to be emphasized or soothed by music. Either way, the feels will be satisfied.
Let’s start with music’s power of being able to pump us up. Pump up music is supposed to get up hyped. It has lots of bass, screaming, and a powerful message about being better than everyone else. Well I can tell you first hand that it works. In the football locker room before a game, we listen to pump up music and it gets us in the mind set for the game. It sets the feels on crazy and you just want to go out jumping and screaming like a complete maniac.
Then there are those feels of being alone. Where you are all down and you feel like there is no one for you. You know, the worst type of feels. We’ve all been there. Well there are many, many songs for that. There is that slow country music that I hear is good but I don’t wat to listen to because country sucks a monkey butt. Then there is the music that I prefer. It is Christian music that is soft and slow and is jam packed full of meaning. The kind of music saying that there is always someone there for you and that no matter what you do or where you are, someone loves you. That always manages to falcon punch me right in the feels. I get this tinging feeling and it spreads all over my body and it is just a weird feeling. But I know that it is my inner feels being touched.

Feels are full of mixed emotions. One of the things that can sooth those emotions is music, and it does it in a way that no one can explain. You just know that you have the song that you need because you can feel it in your soul. The feels are a powerful thing. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do with them.
