Rant: Fifty Shades of Gray

What has this world come to? I’ll tell you what it’s come to. A pornographic novel that have become more popular than the bible. I’m sure you’ve all guessed what this book is already, Fifty Shades of Gray. This book is a perfect representation of what this world has come to. It’s just not right! How could a book as nasty as this one become so popular? Is surly beats me.

            The first thing to address about this topic is the author. What is wrong with her? What would compel someone enough to write a 500+ page book that is entirely about sex and how a guy can seduce woman? Is she mentally unstable to the point that every sexual desire that she has ever had needed to be put down on paper and released to the world? Or is she just one of those horny girls that just simple porn doesn’t satisfy her where she needs to write out exactly how she likes it? I have no idea, all I know it takes a special type of messed up to write, not one, but three books about this crap.

            This book has become more popular than Harry Potter. Harry Potter! How is this possible? I’ll tell you how. It’s because people in this world think that sex is something that everyone should have. It’s not like the bible says that sex is only for marriage, but hey, that’s none of my business. Did you know that some hotels have replaced the bible in the night stand with Fifty Shades of Gray? I do, and I think that that is so messed up! This is basically saying that people would rather read a porn novel rather than the bible. If that doesn’t spell messed up, then I don’t know what does.

            Something needs to be done about this. A book like this should never have been released, let alone be popular enough to be the 2^nd most sold book in history. This world needs to be cleansed after the creation of that book. We don’t need a book like that around at all. I mean porn is a real problem and is frowned upon, but that’s not the case with this terrible book because it’s more, “ethical”. If you ask me, the author should be thrown in jail for corrupting the minds of the world, and whoever made her the way she is should be shot. But hey, that’s just what I think.
